After the weather most destructive U.S. South and South-East have experienced in more than three decades, examines a project called Coming Out of the storm by a Quartet of Clinton, North Carolina, a town slammed by a tornado April 16 seems not only eeriebut also potentially insensitive.But thank God, even if Michael Boykin & The Mighty voice Clinton are not talking necessarily a literal storm, they use the image in the selection of opening the album as a primer to say "the storm is over."  The follow-up, "Best day," promises the Rainbow after rain.

Hopefully, on two counts.

Boykin is a singer of hard quartet at the wheel, which evokes the fountain of Clarence and Robert Blair in its delivery of emotion-drenched. His finest performance on the album are "Blessing Me" (also known as "The Lord is blessing Me") and "Jesus is everything I need." On this last point, Boykin key every ounce of the usefulness of the song in shouting eternal fidelity to her Saviour.

Coming Out of the storm works best when it is delivered pulled simple messages of Scripture and mother wit. Most of the songs are encouraged, with faith and trust in the Lord. The "Got to live right," the Quartet offers testimony designed to turn the hearts of listeners.

The Group provides additional evidence on "Keep Me Safe," which could be subtitled "the prayer Quartet," as the singers pray for the safety of physical and psychological damage, while on the road. They conclude with an intercession on behalf of a litany of quartets colleagues travelling on the motorway of the Gospel, many of whose names they call that concludes the CD.

Couple of songs of praise and worship album is sincere in the mind but do not have the emotional intensity of the selections of faith and encouragement.

Coming Out of the storm is through and through. Following the events of April 16, this message may not be as much a metaphor after all.
